Adaptive Sports Ohio's A Chance to Play Gala 2026

Join us at our annual A Chance To Play Gala on October 1^st in Akron! The evening will be filled with celebration, program highlights, games, and more. Guests will enjoy dinner and dessert, along with live and silent auctions, all in support of our mission.

• When: Thursday, October 1, 2026, 6:00-8:30 p.m.
• Where: House Three Thirty, 532 W Market St, Akron, OH 44303
• Cause: Supporting Adaptive Sports Ohio’s mission to provide individuals with physical disabilities a chance to play.
• Attire: Sporty Business Casual.
• Meal Choices: Pan-Seared Salmon, Fried Hot Honey Chicken, Lemon-Herbed Risoto (Vegan)

Guest Speaker:

Jeremy “Opie” Lade, Opie is a three-time Paralympian, adaptive sports leader, and passionate advocate for athlete development and inclusion through sport. With more than two decades of experience in wheelchair basketball and adaptive athletics, Jeremy has dedicated his career to expanding access, improving athlete performance, and building stronger communities through sport. In addition to his industry leadership, Jeremy is the Head Coach of the USA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team, where he leads elite athletes on the international stage.

• Tickets are $100.00 for guests, $60.00 for Adaptive Sports Ohio athletes.
